| Mundus Group, Inc. UAV VTOL Drone subsidiary AirStar has offered UAV Camera ships to news networks in response to public outrage over lack of independent real time Gulf Coast images of oil spill. |
AirStar's founder Josef Joebstl has offered his Industrial Drone UAV CamCopters to CNN in a personal letter he sent addressing Anderson Cooper's nightly request for accurate information from British Petroleum and U.S. agencies about the Gulf Coast oil containment, preventative measures, and clean up efforts.
"In what has become the worst oil disaster in U.S. history, we, the American people, still have limited information available to us, and what we are getting seems to be under the control of (BP) and government clean up agencies that seem to be showing people what they want them to see," said Josef Obermeier, CEO, Mundus Group.
CNN responded to Mr. Joebstl's e-mail, that they would explore our offer.
Excerpts from CNN Letter
"Hello Mr. Cooper, We at AirStar would like to present an opportunity for you to investigate the BP environmental disaster up close and in such a way that is unavailable by conventional means and virtually undetectable. Currently, the media, as well as the public, have not been allowed within proper viewing distance; therefore, no one without clearance has been able to witness the true extent of this catastrophe.
You and your staff at CNN have been providing ongoing coverage of this catastrophe for almost two months now and have been instrumental in keeping the world up-to-date by providing as much information as possible that BP will allow. We appreciate that very much- thank you! Unfortunately, you are still extremely limited as to how much you are allowed to share with the public.
Imagine being able to capture real-time aerial footage? This would be a vantage point unavailable by any other means than a UAV VTOL Drone. Even in "no fly zones", under your direction, with our experience, we would be capable of flying around fences to bring eye witness news coverage to the most difficult to reach areas to see first hand what damage there is to fragile marshes and their ecosystems, behind buildings and over damns, in virtually any air space in existence. AirStar International's credentials are numerous and include major motion pictures, surveillance and commercial applications. With a payload capacity up to 25 pounds, our industrial Drone unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's) have the ability to carry nearly any recording or photography equipment you require. We are able to clearly view from an altitude of up to 1,000 feet and can remain airborne for up to three hours, virtually undetected.
Please contact us if you feel there is anything we at AirStar can do to help keep the world informed. The people would see it first on CNN."
AirStar is no stranger to the movie industry with a legacy of world records and star-studded clientele, which include George Lucas Super Bowl commercial, Stephen Spielberg Pauli a Parrots Tale, from National Treasure to the Terminator. AirStar has built Camera ships or contracted services for: ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, Disney, Warner Bros, Paramount, Universal Studios, and Dream Works.
