Subsidiary AirStar International Launches New UAV Camera Ship Chosen by Renowned Movie Director for Use in an Upcoming Major Motion Picture AirStar's New Industrial Drone UAV SL 4.0 (Super Lift) CamCopter was chosen by a renowned movie director to be used as a major contributor for a new movie feature. The renowned director (name of the director and movie will be released in a feature press release pending movie production and release dates) had been given a demonstration of AirStar's newly developed SL 4.0 CamCopter and was so impressed with the aerial cinematography capabilities of the new camera ship that the script to use the camera ship, which initially had been for only a few hours was now rewritten to deploy the UAV for several weeks. Previously, aerial cinematography experts using a HD camera were challenged because of the weight and load balance of the existing camera ship designs. This was especially the case of the RED, a camera used for this production and a standard choice for many directors and cinematographers. "The breakthrough is in the improvement and balance of the payload that is achieved through the new 'rear mounted engine' design. Following the initial test flights and the first actual movie shoots that were finished, the director purchased the SL 4.0, with plans to purchase two additional CamCopters for future movie productions," said Josef Obermeier, Mundus CEO/President. The AirStar SL 4.0 Industrial Drone is a rear engine design and functions as a counter weight that brings the cameras weight into a new sense of controllability with the center of gravity being kept without the inherent need for "wasted counter weights" that were needed on all UAVs where the camera is mounted to the front of the camera ship.
