August 2, 2009 Mundus Group, Inc subsidiary AirStar International announces contract with Warner Brothers to provide UAV VTOL drone technology and sound stage for blockbuster Terminator Salvation was a complete success. AirStar Productions UAV cinematography is famous for its work with George Lucas and Arnold Schwarzenegger Productions among hundreds of other notable Hollywood clientele.   AirStar Creates Sound Stage for Terminator: Client Warner Brothers Airstar International is not only able to build custom UAVs and helicopters, but also has the ability to take on a wide array of engineering tasks. A perfect example of this is when the producers from Warner Brothers needed a wide variety of drone helicopter sounds for their new movie Terminator Salvation. For the Terminator movie, Warner Brothers contracted Airstar Production engineers to design and build a very specialized microphone mounting system with sound dampening and frequency barriers. Airstar Productions created a unique sound stage in order to capture the sounds of helicopters to generate “futuristic UAV cyber droids” flying and hovering. AirStar provided UAV VTOL helicopters and CamCopter operators that were put through the paces and flew orchestrated choreographed pre-planned flight patterns around the microphone stage in order to capture the unique phasing sounds of each flying drone machine. The end result was extremely successful and once again demonstrated AirStar’s unique position in the Motion Picture industry as a solution oriented aerospace company which has a rich diversity of niche VTOL UAV business applications, connections in high places and the right people to accomplish any task.   Top Gun of UAV Aerial Cinematography for Motion Picture Industry AirStar founder Josef Jobstl, who grew up not far from fellow Austrian Arnold Schwarzenegger came to Hollywood at Mel Gibson's invitation in 1985. Mr. Jobstl points out, “After working with Arnold on some tight aerial action movie productions... I told him "I'll be back" and after that Arnold used my "I'll be back” in the first Terminator movie”. Mr. Jobstl jests with a smile.
