Mundus Group sees a huge market in aerial search & rescue with multiple benefits that will become the new standard in fire and emergency response.
AirStar has developed a UVTOL configuration that can fly out with every fire department and provide accurate visual details and thermal data of fires in buildings or in rural wild fires. |

The AirStar UAV 4 Life can gather real time visual and infrared information that will help provide assessment of where the greatest dangers are in the immediate area and what occupies the adjacent buildings. In wild fires when smoke or fog can ground piloted planes and make ground searches impossible, AUAV 4 Life makes search and rescue possible in life threatening situations.
Fires can overwhelm the elderly, children and pets and safety routes can be hazardous if the infrastructure has collapsed after earthquakes or floods. UAV 4 Life can immediately see the dangers and investigate for signs of life. UAV 4 Life will able to communicate with aerial loudspeaker capabilities that can give commands that lead victims through to safety and coordinate firefighters efforts from a video link at the mobile control center.
When rescue helicopters and aircraft are grounded due to heavy fog or smoke from wild fires, the AirStars are called in to continue search and rescue missions. With advanced AirStar Optics and Surveillance packages police can observe, automatically monitor and track moving vehicles while sending pin-point accuracy GPS coordinates and real time high definition video images to enforcement agencies without leaving the desk.
Currently AirStar has been under contract with US Armyand US Navy as a search and rescue vehicle. When lives are at stake and fog or smoke is too heavy to fly conventional rescue and search missions in, search and rescue helicopters are grounded, and that is when they call the AirStar in with its advanced 360-degree real time HD video camera and infrared surveillance optical package.
